Since its highly anticipated release back in September, Shudder’s anthology series Creepshow, based on the 1982 movie of the same name, has been nothing short of a smash hit. This Halloween thus became a bittersweet event for gore-hounds everywhere as it marked the end of Creepshow’s first season. But fret not! The Creep you all know and love will be back soon enough. In an offical statement, Shudder announced that Creepshow has already been renewed for a second season! “For me, Creepshow has been a true labor of love,” said showrunner, Greg Nicotero. “To be able to pay tribute to George A. Romero’s visionary project and have the show so embraced by fans everywhere is humbling to this horror kid from Pittsburgh. I couldn’t be more pleased and look forward to continuing the series with more ghoulish delight.” What an exciting advancement! This is all we have for the moment.
