Deadline is reporting that Spike TV has ordered a pilot based on the Stephen King novella The Mist from Dimension Television. Dimension Television is also responsible for the Scream series at MTV, which recently began production on its second season. The project will be written and executive produced by Christian Torpe (Rita). No definitive word, just yet, on whether or not Torpe will be directing the pilot for the network.
